Autumn Gardening

Autumn is the time to put the garden 'to bed' for winter. Leaves need to cleared away and the easiest way to do that is with a garden vacuum, like the 3-in-1 McCulloch Garden Vac that blows, sucks and shreds leaves all for £44.99.

Another job for autumn is to mulch the beds and borders and we have bulk bags of farmyard manure, 10 bags of 50lt for £42.50. Or if you want something that smells a bit sweeter, then what about cocoa mulch, 1 75lt bag for £8.95. It's a natural by-product of chocolate manufacturing and is perfect for suppressing weeds and holding moisture in the soil.

As the weather starts to turn, it's also a good time to buy a water butt to save rainwater for next year. Crocus sell a range of Harcostar water butts on the site, starting at £24.99. Harcostar are the leading water butt manufacturers in the UK, using recycled material to make their products and are the only company to offer a 5-year warranty on them too.

Check out these and more at Crocus.
